All Sweet 16’s are different and the correct music is very important. All clients make a request list, which is encouraged since everyone has different musical taste. DJ Sounds Unlimited will supply you with an exclusive top 100 Modern music party song list that no other service can provide to you. This list is updated monthly. Please check out our music lists to help give you an idea about great party songs and as well as songs that are hot at the time. Requests are also encouraged from you and your guests on the day of your event.
About our D.J. setup
All Sweet 16’s are special and we want to make your event ROCK! We use a high-end speaker system to make the sound crisp and clear. We also include a basic LED light show that helps set the mood for dancing. You can upgrade the sound and add a 1,000 sub-woofer to make sure that we feel that bass and add light trees for a more elaborate light show. Not only can we play great music that excites the crowd your guests are also encouraged to add their input during the event. We will beat mix the music to keep a good flow going as if you were in a night club. We also have many exciting upgrades to add to your event such as party props & light ups, wireless up-lighting, flat screen TV’s, 10’ video screen, photo booth, laser lights that can print text and images & more. What formalities are included?
Some Sweet 16’s will have a formal introduction, candle lighting ceremony and Father-Daughter dances. Our mission at DJ Sounds Unlimited is to make you feel like a princess for a day.
Candle Lighting ceremonies are becoming the norm at Sweet 16’s and it is a great way to honor your family, relatives and friends. At most Sweet 16’s our guest of honor will pick out particular songs for each individual. Prior to your party we would discuss your music selections for your Candle Lighting and play the appropriate part of the song. Once Candles are lit it’s time to sing Happy Birthday, cut the cake and then the Father Daughter dance would take place or you could choose to dance with any person of your choice. It’s your day. If there would be a formal intro in the beginning of the event then the special dance would take place once your introduced.

We MC each event from the Grand Entrance to the Candle Lighting Ceremony and believe in group involvement through group dances, contests and or games. Our VIP photo booth package includes enclosed booth, fun & unique props along with the red carpet experience. A flat screen was also added to this package for a great Sweet 16!
